History and Mission
At the heart of MTTI is the Clemson Montessori School, which has been in existence since 1975. Our program has emerged from over 25 years of teaching experience and leadership in Montessori education in South Carolina and across the Southeast. We saw a need to share our years of expertise with the Montessori community. Our mission at MTTI is to provide a quality training resource for all people with the desire to be in a Montessori classroom. MTTI training programs are practical, hands-on, and self-exploring which model the environment that new teachers can provide for children in a Montessori classroom. The goal of MTTI is to help teachers develop the skills and learning tools needed to provide an enriched learning experience for children in the classroom.
