Welcome to Clemson Montessori School

Located near Clemson University and the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Clemson Montessori serves around 100 sudents and their families who call Upstate South Carolina “home.” Clemson Montessori School is a privately owned, small, child-oriented school based on Montessori methods and philosophy. 

The school offers developmentally appropriate learning environments for students ages 2.5-6th grade, an experienced teaching staff, low student teacher ratios, and spacious grounds for outdoor work and play. The school began in 1976 as a parent cooperative. Fifty years later, it continues to address the social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual needs of each individual child in accordance with the Montessori philosophy.
